The main idea behind the design concept was to open up the various areas of the property, thus creating a visual continuity and a natural flow throughout the flat. The furniture and artwork belonging to the owners, a young couple, are showcased in light and airy spaces. The lower level, perfect for entertaining, has openings on both the street side and the back of the building, with the dining area connected to the balcony. The minimal and polished look carries on upstairs: the sleeping area and the bathroom, located on opposite ends, are united by a walk-in wardrobe. The latter, just like downstairs in the hallway, offers the chance to create a continuity when opened and can act as a separation when the sliding doors are closed. The overall style of the flat is simple and contemporary, with traditional features and details that add a sense of warmth and comfort at the same time.
