Helen Green Design (Natalia Miyar)

Set up by the designer Helen Green, who died in 2012, this practice is now headed by design director Natalia Miyar. She has continued the original ethos of ‘liveable luxury’, while evolving the studio’s approach. ‘The root of my style is clean architectural lines, striking proportion and a layering of materials,’ she says.

Natalia studied history of art and architecture at Brown University, and has a masters from the University of Miami School of Architecture. She has been practising interior design and architecture for over 15 years, and now oversees a team of 25.

Homes are in progress in Chelsea, Belgravia, Knightsbridge, Gloucestershire and Kent, and work on a suite at The Berkeley hotel in Knightsbridge will commence shortly. In 2014, the studio launched a second wallpaper collection and added to its furniture line.

Industry recommendation

‘Natalia has a unique sensibility for upholstery and a brilliant eye for colour,’ says Ben Norris, MD of George Smith.
