She has a reputation for working on super-league homes and top-end developments, but in person Janine Stone is thoughtful and creative.
She puts the client at the heart of every design, believing that each home ‘should be a perfect fit’. For her team of 50, that is the cue for expertly crafted bespoke furniture, unique decorative finishes and globally sourced antiques.
Janine established her interior-design shop in Cheshire in the Eighties, having first trained as a make-up artist. Today she heads a multidisciplinary practice split between Cheshire and London, offering a ‘suite’ of services: full architecture and build, interior design and project management.
With the focus on private homes, Janine’s projects include the refurbishment of a mews house in Belgravia, a new private home in Surrey, the refurbishment of an Arts and Crafts house in Kent and a newbuild house in Israel.
