Ultra professional, yet offering a highly personal service, Louise Jones is perpetually sensitive to her clients’ needs. ‘I always try to
be original,’ she says. ‘If I feel I am heading somewhere I’ve been before, I stop and rethink.’ Her interiors are grown-up and inviting, with soft tones, neat detailing and quality finishes.
Louise studied interior design at the Inchbald School of Design and spent a number of years working for Todhunter Earle before setting up her own Richmond-based practice in 2001.
With her eight designers, Louise is working on: an estate on Jura, Scotland; an Edwardian house in Dublin; houses in Knightsbridge, St John’s Wood and Chelsea; a manor house in Oxford; a newbuild in Kazakhstan; and two beach houses in Sydney.
Which interior designer would you hire?
‘Jacques Grange, because the way he uses fabrics and antiques is always original.’
