Mark Gillette

Having been in the business for more than 20 years, Mark Gillette’s enduring popularity is a result of his ability to design for large-scale country houses and his reputation for professionalism. He has worked with some of the oldest aristocratic families in Europe, who crave his sumptuous interiors featuring carefully chosen art and furniture. More recently, he has branched out with contemporary projects.

Mark studied draughtsmanship at the Inchbald School of Design, and set up his Cheshire-based practice in 1994. He and his team of six offer architectural and interior design, create beautiful bespoke furniture and are experts at sourcing art and antiques.

Mark is working on the interior of the west wing of a seventeenth-century stately home in Rutland, the interior design of a shooting estate in Yorkshire, the interior architecture and design of an eco-house in Harrogate, a central-London flat and a large family home in Teddington.
