An , interior designer and creative visionary, Rabih Hage takes a sensitive yet confident approach to interiors. ‘I respect the heritage, stripping back and extending the life of a building,’ he says. Expect clean lines, flashes of colour and expertly curated art or bespoke furniture.
Rabih graduated from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and worked in various architectural practices before relocating to London and founding his studio in 2001. He won the Andrew Martin International Interior Designer of the Year award in 2011. He runs a team of 12 from his W1 design studio.
Rabih and his designers are engaged on three basement extensions for Grade I- and II-listed town houses in London. They are also working on several interiors in London, a five-star hotel in Victoria and The Chilterns luxury apartments in Marylebone.
Which rules do you break?
‘We make the rules, developing new processes and styles for each project. We are not copying: we are creating.’
