This impressive designer is an expert
on restoration and conservation,
having worked on some of the finest
historic houses and buildings in the
UK and Ireland. Woody Clark’s aim is ‘for my
work to last for 100 years’ and he is passionate
about using homegrown craftspeople.
Woody launched his Cambridge
business in 1992, having worked for Terry Farrell
Architects and George Spencer Designs. His
four-strong team project manages exterior building
work and landscaping through to interior
design and decoration. Woody regularly liaises
with the National Trust and English Heritage.
Ongoing projects include: the interior
design at Castletown Cox, one of Ireland’s great
houses; a country house in Oxfordshire; government
properties in London; Admiral’s House in
Greenwich; and the interior design for a Grade
I-listed abbey conversion in Cambridgeshire.

‘The Mezquita in Córdoba.
Its multilayered architectural styles are a prime
example of religious modification through the
centuries, within one building.’
